So, the nursing home notified me today that my gran fell out of her wheelchair. A small gash above her right eye required a few stitches. This is the third "incident" in a month. State law prohibits physical restraint without written authorization from a proxy. I told her physician to have the paperwork drawn up. *sighs

I know the feeling in a sense, Siege. My grandmother is in a nursing home as well and she ahs to be confined to her bed because she can't walk good enough to keep her from falling even with a walker. :( *hugs tight* Just hang in there...it's what's best that she doesn't get hurt any more. *hugs tightly*

You did what you had to in order to secure your grandmother's safety. You are not a bad person for doing this.

Besides, if my grandmother had said half of the vile things that yours has said in petty fits of rage, I would've checked the box for "upside-down."
