Well, I can say it doesn't really hurt. But I can help about the needles.
My experiencie was a little... scarying, because it didn't cause pain. But the needle was narrow in comparison witht the earing and... they had to "expand it a little". Don't worry, the whole thing doesn't bleed EVER, so, no red.
I won't say any thing more because I don't know if you will get scared (or even impressed).
So, in normal conditions, you only have to endure your "needle-phobia". ^^U

Ahahaha... and yes... It is not like I am scared of dead, I just don't wanna leave. There is SO much around... (gets nostalgia)

I don't get scared of needles, I just... well, I almost fainted when I got my ears pierced. ^^; Maybe one day when I'm brave! :D
