If you want to keep tabs on election results without all the distracting media furor, you might try following this link. When info comes in, AP is providing immediate updates, not only for the Presidential race but also for other Federal and State elections, plus voter initiatives like California's Proposition 8.

I keep wanting to get a new computer. My aging iMac is fine for a lot of what I do... or what I used to do. But since I stated working from home 3 days a week (awesome arrangement, by the way -- I highly recommend it), I've been pushing the limits of my system with Photoshop and such.

Yikes! It looks like they've decided to air the debate on C-SPAN2 rather than C-SPAN proper. So tune in there at 8:00 (CST) if you're interested! (That's a few minutes from now, mind you.)

If your cable package doesn't include C-SPAN2, you can watch online instead.

If you have any interest in the bearing of morality on war, you should watch this excellent point-of-view documentary from PBS called "Soldiers of Conscience." That is all. :)

You've probably noticed the conspicuous absence of candidates other than McCain and Obama in the past three presidential debates. Is that because there aren't any others? Not at all. In fact, four other candidates are on the ballot in a majority of states and could conceivably earn enough electoral votes to win the office.
