I love Roseanne, and I think I appreciate it much more now than I ever did growing up.

And I think it's easier to identify with Darlene than Stephanie.

roseanne is great, back to back nick at night reruns are irresistable. sara and i used to discuss the show's oddly edgy themes, and how surprising it was that abc tackled those issues within the sitcom form. we also talked about how dj connor was a crazy.

why do you say dj is crazy?
he's like, only about eight years old, right?

ooo! Me too! I love the golden girls!

like I said, I haven't seen it for a while, so I'm not making a grown-up assesment as much as a sociological assesment

well im sure full house could come up with some hilarious episode dealing with birth control. i can see it now, DJ walking into some store in a big trench coat and fake nose/glasses. Trying to buy birth control at the counter, and then her dad walks in the store! oh no! Eventually the cover up would become so ridiculous, she would finally be caught, and Danny Tanner would have to have a talk with DJ. It would be great!

And to finish the show off, the Beach Boys would make a surprise visit!

Its too bad that Home Improvement didn't have any girls in it, other than the mom. IM sure they would have a text book way of dealing witht that issue.

and i think you misspelled 'dammmit' on purpose! because i told you, 'damnit' ain't in the dictionary.

i thought it was funny when carmen said something like, " if you ain't gunna treat the customer nice, they ain't gunna come in." ha ha.

I didn't like Roseanne at all! It was so depressing for a 14 year old kid
like me. But i guess that's just me.

Hands down full house was an awful show for most of us. Although i can even
see some people supporting it, we all had our shows or bands we really liked
for whatever reason. Similarly, we all had shows or bands we disliked for other reasons.

you were much older than I when exposed, then- these are pre-middle school memories for me.
it might have been depressing at 14.... hmmm... that's one to think about, the age context in which one is exposed to stuff... hmm...
