Morrobay1990 posted this video on her LJ a few weeks ago and i saw it but didn't click. I finally caved in and clicked a few days ago and i've reclicked oh... about 50 times since then!!! I absolutely adore the song Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer, and so it really blew my mind how much i loved this version too. And the video is... wow!! I bought the movie on Amazon and watched it on my laptop monday night. It's very good. The actors are quiet gorgeous. Morrobay and i have determined that Max Riemelt is "walking sex."
Free Fall (Freier Fall) is a German movie and uses subtitles which worked just fine for me. It's not a Happy Ever After love story at all, but it's not nearly as final as BBM either. Marc (Hanno) and Kay (Max's character, pronounced Kai) are roommates at the police academy and strike up a bit of a relationship. Marc is resistant and when training is done he goes back home to his girlfriend and tries to put it all behind him. Kay isn't ready to let go, though, and once he shows up on Marc's squad, Marc's helpless to resist him. Unfortunately, real life has a hold on Marc that he can't shake and Kay can only try so hard before he has to start thinking about himself.
I really enjoyed the movie and the love scenes are so well done and plentiful enough that you feel like you've gotten a real treat without venturing into over-the-top porn at all. And this movie seems to be Merkin Free. =D
