"Loved you more" was a great story, but I don't think I ever read anything you wrote that I didn't love or think was great. You leave no stone unturned, there is no head scratching about the characters or story - you cover it all. I truly was watching the scroll bar go down and tried to read slower, because I didn't want the story to end, but alias it did. Hope you keep writing and I will sure keep reading! I wouldn't mind seeing what happens next for Tuck & Deacon, but I guess I am never satisfied when it comes to one of your stories! I will always want more. Thank you! Gail

thank you so much! writing love you more was a good experience and i'm glad i did it. not sure when/if i'll write anything else. i'm so busy with everything else in my life that i can't seem to squeeze any time in for writing or even thinking about a story. but i'm so glad you enjoyed this and came back to leave me a comment. it's tough out there in the real world! i need all the friendly faces i can get. :)

Hello there! I tripped my way over here after reading your story on goodreads, and I gotta tell you, it knocked my socks off. 9 out of 10 of the m/m books I read that are recommended on GR are absolute crap, and over the years of trying to find something decent, my standards have gotten embarrassingly low. I too am a transplant from fanfic land, and I got spoiled by all the variety and creativity before losing interest in the fandom. But stories like yours give me hope! My only disappointment was that I wanted to read all your books, but this is your first one (I think?). You've got to write more OC stuff; you have a real gift for it.

Also, should you need some cover art that isn't just glistening headless torsos, I'm your man.

I finally got to read your awesome story.... so, so sorry I finished it already !!
I had an awful last week, my grandma died and I had to take care of my mom, without her thinking I was doing just that.... looooong days, and my highlight were 1-2 chapters of your novel read before bed. You have no idea, my dear Jane, how soothing and relaxing, and heartwarming were your Deacon and Tucker !! such a beautiful love story ! and, woman, you write such a fantastic erotica !! and thank you for the happy ending, I needed that !! (I also wished for Tucker to find that scumbag and....) I particularly liked the male way of dealing with this, without those stupid machismos ! I would say more, but I don't want to spoil anybody.

Beautiful story, I love it so, so much !! I hope you will write more, soon !

PS: any intentions of finishing "Somewhere with You" ? (bats eyelashes innocently)

Thank you so much for taking the time and making the effort to read, when I know it wasn’t easy for you. I’m so glad that you enjoyed the story and that it was a bright spot for you when you were sad and dealing with your mom’s heartbreak. My mom was in deep depression for about a year after my dad passed. She still misses him every minute of every day, but she’s been able to get back into the swing of life again, and we’ve been traveling and having a lot of fun. We’re going to Charleston SC in a couple of weeks to see Christmas lights, shop, gain weight, etc!! I know that’ll be a good time. We just got back from 10 days in Maine and that was a blast. We go on senior trips organized by the center on aging in her county. I like it because we go on a bus and I don’t have nearly the responsibility as when it’s just us on the road

Taking time to read your story wasn't any hardship, on the contrary ! and coming to LJ was the easy part of my day, the one that relaxes me and helps me be better for the next day - keeping up with my boys, the Js, and the authors that I love, kept me sane ;o)

I really envy you for your retirement and so much free time !! According to the laws here, I have 20 more years to work until I get to enjoy that time... I have to figure out a way to do it in at least 10 !

Anyway, an idea: there are a few writers that published, like you, and then they took their fanfictions, changed the names and polished them a little (if they thought it was needed) and published those too ! And that because their fanfictions were so, so beautiful !! more people than the fandom deserved to read them !
