When like, I'm not seeking and people spam me with various /tells like "(Party)" "PT ???????" or just a simple "pt" and I reply with an even more simple "no"... Why do they reply with "ok np"? Np for what? I never even said sorry, WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SAY NP ( Read more... )

I actually enjoy turning these retarded invites down. D: Sometimes I point out how they should've asked, but I'm lazy to argue with them, I do it when I'm really moody and have a great laugh everytime. :3

I think it's because the politeness requirement. You know if you're Japanese the worst thing you could do is cause discomfort to someone. So I guess they insert "sorry" for you because if you were Japanese you would automatically add the extra politeness factor.

Japanese people never invite you the way most English people do. Like this "pt" thing, I think it's extremely rude, they should ATLEAST say hello, and ask in a full sentence. Japanese always ask politely, but 90% of the English just toss a "pt" to you in /tell, so I mainly meant the second part to them. :\ (autotrans is also a comfort thing, lot of people use it even though they talk the same language, just to type out things faster)
