Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to whine, I'm not upset, I could give a damn about HNMs or my BLM, I'm actually slightly amused. LOL GOOD JOB RUINING THE GAME. Maybe if SE didn't build the whole endgame around BLMs, it would work. But yeah...

Nope, "endgame" is basically the big monsters that require 15-18+ people to kill.

It's more complicated than that... I wouldn't want to go into the details, but in the end it boils down to when a new endgame monster is released everyone goes "How many BLMs do we need for this?". It's not even about the quality of the BLMs, it's just the number. Even the most retarded BLM is fine, as long as he buys his spells.
