Monday night, Hannah and I were at Target. As we were walking through the clothes, she laughed and told me there was a "Nerds Rule" t-shirt. Camille is going to be 14 next month, and I worry that she's going to see herself as part of an exclusive group sometimes. I like how you say, "Of course there are, honey, there's nerds and cool kids and all kinds of people everywhere. Make sure you're nice to all of them."

Getting to know you online over the years, and in the brief time that I got to see you in person, I could tell that Hannah has some really awesome parents.

Poopsie has an "I <3 NERDS" t-shirt that she wears all the time. Used to be mine. :)

I wonder if "get her butt kicked" is exaggeration/slang for "get teased" etc. Because I am trying to imagine but can't wrap my head around there being butt-kicking at H's school.
