Today was a really good day! I drove (I! drove!) Betsey, Kathleen, and Diana to breakfast at Burge, which was pretty okay, and then I drove Betsey to her class at the new art building and Diana and I looked around in there for a few minutes; it's neat but we didn't get to see much. So I'm filling out the common app, and the schools I'm applying to that accept it are Reed, Vassar, and Lewis & Clark. I had been pretty confident about getting in to all of these but my self-esteem has been beaten down enough in the past few months that I'm now considering them reach schools (just so I won't be so disappointed if they reject me ( Read more... )

Hey I was right you guys, it was the red-light district I went to in Hamburg! I wasn't sure, you know, because I didn't see any prostitutes, but I did have a feeling that it wasn't exactly a place for children. Apparently they just keep the prostitues behind a big gate?

Anyway, that it pretty cool.
