Smoke Gets In My Eyes

This morning, it was beautiful and clear here at Lake Tahoe, however satellite photos showed a huge bank of smoke from the fires all over California building up on the western side of the Sierra crest ...

It's awful down here at the western base of the foothills, where it's all gathered up as it gets pushed over the mountains. And it was worse in Redding where there are active fires within sight of downtown... if you could see that far.

I've read that there are a couple of fires south of Tahoe
