So, after a VERY long hiatus, I'm back and I'm better than ever.
I've been doing a lot of working on myself and I have to say that even though I'm hating my job even yet, I still am learning to love my life all over again. I'm definitely out of here at the end of the school year, end of summer at the latest, but I have to figure out where is a good starting point for me. I was saying that I want to finish my theatre degree, but it won't really get me anywhere. It's a passion, true, but I have to find something that will help me pay the bills. Which takes me to my next option and is another that I heard for most of my life would get me nowhere.
Music.
Now, I know what you're thinking. It really won't get me anywhere. The fact of the matter is, though, that I'm not talking about becoming a singer. Rather, I think I'd like to become a promoter or a professional radio deejay. As long as it's not a radio station that expects you to work with duct tape on your mouth, I'd be good. I'm good at what I do when it comes to the radio and I know it. I just don't like working at a station where every thing you say is watched and brought under a microscope by about 30 people and then you hear about it. No, thanks. But I have a few months to think about it. And believe me, I'm thinking hard.
As far as everything else, I'm learning to have a more positive outlook on life. I come up with at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for or were positive that happened in the day. It's helping A LOT.
And finally, I had an INCREDIBLE night the other night. My sister and I went to her first rock concert. Avenged Sevenfold (squee!!!), Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Saving Abel. It was A-FUCKING-MAZING. We're gonna go see Avenged Sevenfold again in a couple of months.
