I Took A Long Walk Off A Short-Sighted Peer

It's not a misspelling. It has become fashionable in certain media areas for people to form friendship and then toss them aside rather quickly. I think the hazard of striking friendships in online environments, for some, is that some people consider the relationships to be disposable.

As though there is no depth to be found there.

LOL I play Sorority Life and am one of those non-slappers. I just think slapping is rude. I don't equate it to domestic violence. I also don't like that a low level can slap but you can't attack back but hey that is just me.

I step away from the game often because of the crazy drama and sisters burning sisters over sweetheart stealing. LOL

personally, i think people just forget that sometimes in friendships, there is a certain amount of censorship and lots of tolerance. And people forget that.

For some reason, I am suddenly reminded of a boss I once had who picked his nose while chatting with us in the line at a restaurant and then turned and wiped it on someone's shirt in front of us. It was a really crazy situation.

But i think in every relationship, there is a certain amount of restraint and tolerance that has to happen in certain situations and then later you have discussions in private, if it is even in your position to approach such a conversation.

And I think to a certain extent, people forget the concept of restraint and self-censorship in the Facebook environment.
