I was in the process of rolling up the window when I heard a sound like a rock hitting my window. It stopped rolling up. In fact, it started sliding down. The mechanics had trouble getting the door cover off to get at my window, but

hmmmm.... Would I be able to get $2,000 for deposit money that way? I'll be getting some money in a little over a week. I should be able to make a deposit on a shiny new Toyota Tacoma after that. Then I'll be the "friend with a truck" that people call when they move.

Of course not. It's either a manual window or a power window. Fortunately, I did find the parts cheaper online, so I probably will get it fixed. At the same time that I fix the air conditioner. What's another $400 on the $500 car, when I've already spent $700 on it for tune-up and smog fixes?
