I got stung by a yellowjacket (which I just learned is part of the wasp family) at about 11:30 this morning and now, eleven hours later, the damn thing hasn't stopped hurting. I don't get it, the last time I got stung by a bee it hurt for about five minutes and then I got on with my day. Maybe I'm developing an allergy. I hear it's something ( Read more... )

I'm sorry about the wasp, its in the order:Hymenoptera, if you want to know, which includes bees, wasps, ants and other stingy things. Wasp stings are usually worse than bee stings, so that could account for the extra hurt-y bit...if you were allergic you'd probably have swollen up quite a bit by now. That's funny about The Wasp superheroin, how lame. Sorry about the sting- that sucks hard. I'm down with abby being jewish - somehow i'd already figured that was what was happening. I love the whole superhero's have religon thing, it seems so..i dunno...normalized. and funny. Sweet, i can't wait to get a whole issue under our belt - and wow, what an issue :)

Yeah, sorry I've been kinda lagging lately. I've been reading comics non-stop, but haven't been writing much. I suck creatively when I'm in turmoil (kind of the opposite of the stereotype, I have to have inner peace in order to create) and I've been freaking out about being homeless and unemployed lately. Things should be settling down, and then I'll be hoping back on that creative train and actually writing le issue.
