SO ANYWAY I went to the flea market but it was unbearably hot (I mean ridiculously so, I was dripping onto all the home-made anti-Bush pins) and I was too much of a dick to wait around. Bought a Warren Zevon album and a collection of Wodehouse's Psmith novels. Zevon's songs are beautiful in a relaxed, unassuming sort of way, it's really a shame he ( Read more... )

I remember when he died, and then Johnny Cash died three days later, and how everyone on LJ was all, "oh noes, the Man is dead" and I was alone in my mourning for Zevon.
