I want to learn how to make a decent lemon meringue. Previous efforts have not gone well, but here I have access to really fresh eggs and lemons of scary potency, as well as limoncello -- when all goes wrong with a dessert, pouring alcohol over it is often the answer. Blackberry pie reigns supreme, with some vanilla ice cream on the side. Pumpkin remains the most entertaining to make.
