When you receive something from someone else, you are required to send back BITS, which is our form of currency. It is-
Slow down, mousebrain! What kind of thing is a currency?!
You buy stuff with it, Jayfeather-kun. Firestar had this problem too. Basically it's like...a trade. Sparrow-san gives you herbs and you give him BITS. He can use those BITS to get new things in the future.
