Writer's Block: Touch-Screen Pros & Cons

It would help make me even lazier.  Never having to use a mouse?  It could be bad if I had cheeto crumbs on my fingers, that could be bad.

Actually, you'd probably develop a good deal more muscle in your arms from having to lift your whole arm to do things instead of just sliding your hand around and flicking a finger.

It's one of the things a lot of people in the computer industry have talked about when discussing why touch-screens haven't taken off more for home computers. It's even got a name, "gorilla arms."
The generally accepted solution is to put the computer on the table/desk/whatever at an angle like a drafting table, so that you don't have to crane your neck all the way down nor hold your arm out in front of you.
