Friends only

I have a couple "security" like questions.
1. How do I make my journal "friends only"?
2. How do I make sure my journal won't appear in online search results?
Teaching teenagers kind of makes me more precautious.

yes. when i was teaching high school, i did the same thing. look in the FAQs and set everything automatically friends-only. and still i took my real name and all identifiable proper names out of my journal, referring to people by first initial only or a special nickname.
