On being a ghost in light of the "no dead people" rule

With the Welcome Wagon’s recent decision, I obviously became very worried about my journal and how it would be received from here out. I emailed Linda the Welcome Lady since I am, comparatively, new. She told me to have no fear because I was a ghost, not a dead person reincarnated, and because, basically, I wasn’t Hitler. I'm sure there are

[I know I went friends only because there were people posting Tim's posts on message boards I followed religiously prior to joining the game and they were basically ripping him apart, so I got to the point where I really didn't want to deal with that anymore.
Rest asured, Siggy's staying on Tim's list, though right now I'm in a bit of a quandry about what to do with him.

[Ah, makes sense. It is one of those things that always makes me wonder, because if a journal is friends only, and a new person shows up, how do they know if they would like this older person - seeing as they can't read any entries. See it isn't just my character that over analyzes things ;)

I'm glad I get to see Tim's updates, however infrequent they may be.

[Yay! Other people disagree, so I thought I should comment to that. Now I'm all worried that it is going to look like I was fishing for compliments, which I wasn't - I was just dealing with the people who have suggested, in various terms, that I go away.]

[I love reading your journal. I enjoy it and I think it's great that you chose Freud. It's unique and interesting and that's what this is all about. You've made him come alive and I will definitely be keeping you on my list]

[i became friends only for the same as tim. and i do have a few unlocked posts that people can comment to and let me know they are adding me. i would not defriend you i enjoy reading you journal and i think it is more a personal choice. But that just me. -Alexei shape person]

[Yeah, I just wanted to respond to all the people who were saying 'you can't be a ghost! be a real person!' It was a pretty defensive post, but I've been feeling a bit defensive with various people telling me to go away.]
