Did you ever notice in the movie Ghost that when Patrick Swayze's character is on the train fighting with the other ghost, he gets pushed halfway through the metal side of a subway car, looks to his side and sees a post approaching, and actively works to get back in the train, apparently to avoid decapitation ( Read more... )

Oxford comes to mind, but if we're talking State side, I suggest my Alma Mater, NYU, or even Columbia.

As for the Ghost issue....Patrick Swayze has no unresolved issues. There should be standards for ghosts. Seriously though, I think because he wasn't used to the 'dead' scene, it was something of the flight or fight response. He had to fight otherwise he'd 'die' but you know how that pesky mind of ours works and the way we perceive our world.

Your updates always make me think. Now I'm going to have to watch Ghost again to analyze that scene. I'm glad the posts got removed from welcome wagon as well.
