a day of nothing!

- didn't do shit today but eat, wash my clothes, and doodle for a bit.
- does anyone lay on their bed, legs straight up against the wall and listen to records?
- 4 more days till NY, forgot what it was like to have to wear a coat for more reasons other then fashion.

Hey guy,
Thanks for adding me to your "friends" list, even though you don't know me. Or DO you? I added you back since you seemed like nice folk... I moved here from SF about six months ago and I just started to get out of the house. Sometimes all I do is eat, wash clothes, doodle and listen to records with my legs against the wall... You should have come out to the big art show party at Lather on Lexington! Oh well, have fun in NY. Say "hi" to Jeff R if you see him.

Many many reasons: a) SF is not much different than a small town, I saw the same faces every day. b) I got hella cheap rent and a lot of space here in LA, the decision to move was rather spontaneous as the decision was made as soon as we got the tipoff. c) My girlfriend hates SF, it was gonna be here or Brooklyn or Queens. d) I wanted a change, I've lived in the Bay Area all my life. I don't regret it, though I miss my friends. That said, I spend more *quality time* with those who visit! I think LA has tons of potential, even though I think it's a great city already. So many inspiring people here! SF does have a lot going on right now, but there's also a lot of monotony as well. Sure, there's a lot of bullshit going on here, but it's those little pockets of magic that are spread far and wide that make it so interesting and fun! The art scene is definitely rockin' here, so much variety and so much to see, especially design stuff! BTW, my girlfriend and I admire that you're documenting the typographic history of the streets ( ... )
