Lists do have the Houdini-esque ability to make us feel like we're accomplishing something. I'd truly be lost without them :)

Sizable life changes are keeping you from the East Coast - I kind of assumed. When are you moving, anyway? I guess the details are still being worked out.

And, funny you should mention it, I am planning on coming to New Orleans again. It just won't be for awhile. The PCA/ACA (Pop/American Culture Association) is having their 2009 conference in Nola. Wheee! It's next April (8th-11th) and not only am I going to try to get into the thing, but also my hubbie, poss. a friend or two from Philly, and a friend from Cincinnati. And hopefully Temple will spring for it. Double wheee!

Like I said, not for awhile now, but I'm already excited.

I am in New Orleans already. I bought a brand new Toyota Yaris, and I am looking thoroughly for a house in the city (that won't flood, etc.). I am staying with fam for now.

Hey, 2009 is right around the corner! I can wait...SQUEE!

Sweet, can't wait. Wouldn't think of asking you to house that many people - I think we're all going to stay at the same hotel that Phil and I stayed at for our honeymoon. Smack dab in the French Quarter. I do expect you to hang out every free minute you have.
