Just found out that the comedy club has a 1 drink, 1 appetizer minimum. And you can't order your one drink or one appetizer before or during the show. So, you basically have to drink through 20 performers (just found that out, too), half of them godawful, I'm sure, and then get your drink and food after. I found a way around that predicament awhile ago (oddly, also at a comedy cub), and it's worked for drink minimums, food minimums, anything.

Haven't ordered/received your MANDATORY drinks/food yet? Leave anyway.

Ha. Right. The Escape from Alcatraz move is always on option. Though, I wasn't sure if you had to pay for the food and drinks first and then redeem a ticket later. In which case, being rather cheap, I probably would have felt compelled to stay. Maybe. After a few hours of bad stand-up, the price of freedom just might have been worth it.
