I just got my plane tickets to Calif for Thankgiving... $425, exit row seating... from Philly, but I can take the train up and either do it before the flight or stat at friends' overnight. Same thing on the way back. Not a bad price. and I like the train anyway hehe

Now, I just need a power port adapter for my laptop :-)

sstormwatch recently took an Amtrak trip, and the train had standard power plugs. :-)

Ok, you're travelling 2,400 miles from Philly to Fresno for $425.00 USD.

I'm travelling 800 miles from Dulles to Halifax for $494.00 USD on Dec. 19, returning on Jan. 4.

Damned international & Air Canada travel costs. *grumbles*
