It's not your birthday- what's the occasion for such an expensive dinner gathering?

Much as I would love to, I cannot join. Although I do envy you. I remember the meat coma from my last birthday at the Fogo in Baltimore.

To those who may be considering, yes, it's expensive. It's also totally worth it. Some of the best viandes that have ever graced my palate. And no, I was not kidding about the meat coma. We went to happy hour afterwards and no one could drink very much at all.

I don't think I have a choice, really. Like a moth to the flame...

Or a cub to the meat. Same thing, really.

Oh crap...you said Wednesday the 18th, didn't you? Bah! I may have to retract my attendance due to a prior engagement. I'll let you know.

$60 per person??? SHIT. Have you ever considered outside of DC? In Falls Church there is a place called the Malibu Grill. Memory serves me that it was only about $20.00 per person and all you can eat...

20 vs 60... Hell take a cab and it's still cheaper.
