Yes! I'm letting it grow out! It's just a big mess right now and needs some sort of shaping to control it. And it's all different lengths...it's a mess.
I'm nervous to go somewhere to get it trimmed and then they hack it all off and ruin all progress I've made.
Yes, I've been hired at Seattle Drip Coffee Company, the new drive through coffee place that's gone up in the Niceville Food World parking lot. Training hasn't officially started there, but so far I like what I see. I'm REALLY excited about working so close to home.
I'm completely done with Starbucks. I miss seeing you, too! With the new job my hours should be better. A recurring theme in my jobs is that I'm the only one who knows or is willing to do anything, and everyone else gets used to me picking up the slack, therefore I work LONG TIRING hours. I have been so worn out the past 2 weeks or so, but I am now looking forward to a fresh, new start!
I've not had a professional haircut in about 10 years. Okay - I know, that doesn't really surprise anyone! I get David to trim the ends. You should see him agonize over that. He absolutely hates doing it. I cut layers in it using this very precise "pick it up and whack it with the scissors" technique. I'm thinking of passing on my expertise to a top Hollywood stylist, LOL!
Sounds like you have a great work ethic. The problem today is not only will employers take advantage of it, but fellow employees too. Stinkeroo! Sounds like a great move on your part to quit.
I can cut other peoples hair, no problem! I used to cut my hair, but I really shouldn't. hahah. It's a bad habit. If I was getting ready for school and my hair wasn't pleasing me, I'd just start cutting. Then, when I would go for a "professional" cut they'd always say "Oh my. Who cuts your hair?"
