the most exciting thing in my life has been the planning for restaurant week. joe and i have scoured the menus and narrowed it down to one definite and a few maybe's. we are such dorks but we want the deal to be worth it. so we search the menu offered than look at the regular prices to come up with an average. if it is more than the 30 dollar pirce ( Read more... )

twenty manning is swanky, but not THAT great. i somehow ended up there last new year's eve and manny and i also did some shots there for the city paper, and the entire place seemed to revolve more around the decor and image than the food.

we decided not to go there. we are going to farmicia instead because it looks sooo good and the food is classy yet sort of down-homey, if that makes sense.
