Alright, I may have skimmed a lot but I think I got the gist. Engagements, marriages, births, deaths, reincarnations, you people were sure busy! Also, reading what y'all organised/did after the earthquake in Japan was inspiring but I didn't really expect anything less. ♥

The films might be done with, but we still have Pottermore to look forward to! I got into the beta and am just waiting for my welcome owl so I can start playing around, but from what I've seen, it looks like it's going to be cool!

I'm still in denial that HP is truly over. No more books, no more films. I mean yeah, there's Pottermore which is the thing every Potter fanatic will be clinging to now that the final film has been out, which will have extended info and whatnot. But there's something about the excitement and the hype, going to midnight releases and all that I'll miss. You know? idk, it sounds weird but it's just such an end-of-an-era moment that I am still in denial of. :(

Although I understand what you mean. There are times when I get into something or need to squee about something that everyone else either has moved on from or doesn't know what I'm talking about.

It doesn't sound weird at all! I mean, Harry has been a part of our culture for, what, ten years or so? Nearly a third of our lives.

One of the fantastic things about LJ, and to some extent the internet in general, is that there is always someone out there willing to talk about what you wanna talk about it. But, yeah, there is something to be said for the fannish collective/hive mind that you can experience when everyone is watching or reading what you are at the same exact moment. :/

I'm still recovering from last November's surgery, with a setback here and there, but also some forward strides. I hope to have a life someday! :D
