SERIOUS POLL:

H-How hard is it to make and mod an RP on your lonesome. Because I am getting this horrible urge and it won't go away.

Guess it depends on the scope of the project and how many people you think will participate.

I got a bit of interest around, so theoretically maybe 20 or so people to start. :x I want to make it semi-plotty too, but only once every 1-2 months?

Hrm, having never been a mod, I can't really tell if that'll be too much, but I guess as long as you keep it at a nice, moderate pace it should be fine? Also depends on how competent the other players are. |D

Ooo. I don't have any experiences with modding RPs, but like ningen_demonai says, it prolly depends on the scope/size you hope it to be. What's the RP idea?

Interesting idea! Some questions: For the AU normal everyday life, would the characters know each other already or would that be optional (aka meet at the group session)? And if it's optional, what things would facilitate interaction between characters while they're outside of the hospital?

Optional! Though it would be encouraged to head canon with existing characters if they have a prior relationship. And it could be they work at the same work place, or recognize each other from school, or get drawn into a secret cult which is very much focused on getting memories back the easy' way--

I mean I haven't really thought about it, but it could be fun to play with if I could bounce such semantics off others.

Pssh no, having coding formats sound like a plan. Do you have sample coding, or suggestions for how to code?

What do you mean a coding format for events :O

I guess that depends on how busy your RL life is too -__-'

When thinking about something on the net or something which involves coputers in some way, you have to include the reality too.. Which can be quite scary actually :S
Right now I just wish I could escape reality and all these deadlines and schoolwork... bleeerggghhh.... anyway I think you'll end up with a wise decision, do what you feel will make you have more fun :D
There's no fun in life unless we have fun :D

Having done this like 6 times and only had one real successssssss in terms of gameeee. I don't think making and modding the rp is the hard part -- however maintaining the RP and keeping it to the level of activity you want can be kind of tricky.

By maintaining do you mean staying on top of apps and events? :O

Mostly events! Because a game requires a certain amount of prodding to keep active and sometimes it feels too much like a slide :B;; or it did for me. It's why I have so many failed games.
