Precedings and Plans

Dull and full of nail biting anticipation at the same bloody time. It was slow and so fast all at once. The Norwegian played with his dark blue tie as he nodded and agreed with their consulting attorney. Nils was tall, but he also was a soft featured man with blond hair. He had a fatherly air about him, which was enhanced by all the photos of his ( Read more... )

Berwald just coughed and opened his checkbook and a pen and said one simple statement as he wrote out a check for a hefty sum of money. "By the morning."

Berwald slid the check across the desk to the lawyer, stood in his imposing, best intimidating posture, looked meaningfully at the lawyer then his companions.

"We'll be in the hotel should you need us." He said gesturing that everyone should exit the room now and let his money do the talking instead. It was amazing how fast confidence, power, quiet intimidation and lots of MONEY made the wheels of justice spin faster than the speed of sound. That was the sound of a sonic BOOM as the lawyer slid the check in his breast pocket and Berwald offered his arm to his mother-in-law and the other to Tino as they exited Nils Office.

Inwardly, he wanted to laugh as Tiina squeezed his arm, and the twinkle in her eye showed she was trying not to laugh. Apparently she approved of Berwald's "I'm a VERY, Powerful, insanely rich Man don't fuck with me" tactics.

Mads had pretty much undone his tie the moment they were outside the door. "Phew. How's it feel to be all grown up now like the rest of us big boys champ?" He asked of Siguard, pressing his cheek to the shorter man's ( ... )

Once everyone was settle and Mathias was in the bathroom, with the newpaper (he was going to be a while). Jareth appeared and sat across from Siguard on the other double bed in the room ( ... )

"I'll be fine, but thank you, Jareth. The Goblins, while half wits at the best of times, are at least dutiful in following orders that have been made clear and direct. I'll have some tea and a nap in a bit." The blue tie had been discarded to the night stand, and the suit jacket hung behind the door. The world worn Norwegian was laying in his own bed in the slacks and undershirt, an arm tossed over his eyes to block out the afternoon sun for a moment while he was in his meditative place... Jareth occasionally "bothered" him during these times, taking advantage of Siguard's defenses being willingly made low. By this point the Goblin King disrupted Siguard very little. He'd come to accept Jareth as a distant relation through either the marriage of his own husband, or through his step-son status to Titania. Either way, Jareth was family. He was the annoying family member who couldn't mind his own damn business, but in this particular situation Siguard was glad to have the Lord of the Labyrinth on his side ( ... )

Berwald walked over and hauled Tino up of the bed, dusting him free of pervasive glitter. He didn't want to be infested with that in his own bed. It was bad enough it was a HOTEL BED, and his feet hung off, the last thing he wanted was glitter stuck to him. Although the NARROW berth of the bed was perfect for snuggling close to his Titi, which was nice. Not that they didn't snuggle every night anyway together. Their large King Sized bed back at both of their "homes" both on the island and in Finland had a lot of wasted space on either side, both of them usually sleeping mashed together in a tangle in the middle of the bed. Berwald was a closet cuddler. Thankfully Tino was an UNCLOSETED cuddler ( ... )

"If Siguard wants to stab someone in the eye I'll totally keep lookout. Or hit the other eye... I can hit it from across a street and through a window for god's sake." As deadly and horrible as this sounded, this was Tino SIGNIFICANTLY calmed down to just the dying embers of rage. He huffed and shuffled Berwald around until they were in such a position where he could climb up on Berwald's lap and sulk in a better environment. Sulking was better. Tino didn't sulk like he was going to cry. That was different. Tino described those times as being mopey, wishy washy, ect. No, Tino's sulking was when he was agitated but coming under control and starting to move on. While sulking wasn't good for an everyday attitude, it was, at least here, a good sign that Tino wouldn't be biting or kicking things.

Siguard meanwhile rolled around on his own bed until he was laying on his side facing Mathias' chair. "We'll need to clean his room when we get home. It's probably dusty."N

"Since he'll be coming home with us, I think I call in a maid. We want him to be able to sleep and not clean the first night home. The lady watching Hana has a key. I'll have her let in a cleaning service to clean his room and wash his sheets." Berwald said, filing away that mental note for later. One of his better qualities, remembering to do things, remembering important details, even trivial ones. He had a very analytic mind for certain things. He adjusted a fussy Tino more comfortable on his lap and hugged him around his waist resting his chin on Tino's shoulder ( ... )

Mathias, as predicted, caught the menu without seeming to pay much attention that it had been lobbed at his head. His mind was on other things and so he couldn't be arsed to notice the friendly attack as anything other than a friendly toss. "God I'm dying for something hot and filling. Potatoes. Frikadeller would be heaven right now. I wonder if they have it on this menu." He pondered, leaving through it and snorting triumphantly to find his beloved meat-ball patties on it. "Alright, Frikadeller for me, they have fish here, Siguard, we can order something like that for you. How about you two?" He asked of Tino and Berwald ( ... )
