Washed all my bedsheets and comforters, so those are all comfy and clean now. Vacuumed the room and dusted, that's nice and clean. Paid some fines (stupid snow ban and car tax). Did taxes. Got MUCH more than I ever thought I would due to various extenuating circumstances. I'm a little under two months closer to owning a home than I was before, w00t

My dad has a boat in San Francisco, I've been on it a few times. Looking over board to gaze at the bay and the waves, I've been greeted once or twice by a pair of deep, beautiful brown eyes gazing at me from the curls and swirls of water.

The dark brown faces almost seem to smile, and blink their eyes, sometimes submerging and sometimes treading water to look back at me. Intelligent and compassionate, playful and sometimes deeply sorrowful.

It's not difficult to see why the sailors of old swore people lived under the waves. It's hard not to see the sentience in the silken Seals.
