a bit confused

Ok so cooking lesson learn, although good in theroy "turkey loaf" is not good in practicality. Sure It sounds like it would be good all turkey goodness in a loafy fashion but for some reason it just came out to peppery. like the turkey swallowed up a tuck that was covered in pepper and then died and was used to make the turkey loaf. dice up 1 yellow-dreen apple (i forget the name of it) and dice up vermont sharp chedder (the white one). Add as much cheese as you want. mix together with ground turkey and mold into loaf form. cook in the oven at 375 til turkey is done. serve with stuffing and your choice of veggies.. outcome... one yummy meal.... ps.. i dunno why yours tasted like pepper... :)

For whatever reason the turkey meat is pre-spiced. I bet the cheese would help to mild the taste out. Never heard of an apple in meatloaf though, might try that.
