i'm thinking of giving up record collecting...i'm running out of room and sometimes i just sit around and wonder why i buy so many records. in other news me and drew went out wensday night and i bought 4 cds. it was fun to hangout with her for the first time in like forever.

I think everyone needs something to collect or focus their time/money/attention on, other than the things we need to maintain in our daily lives. Whether it's a hobby, a collection of sorts or a serious activity, we all need that thing that is our own.
I would say, if you can afford it, keep going. It's a cool thing to collect, it's not outdated, and it's way more useful than collecting baseball cards or something...
