I know what you mean. Even during my darkest hours, I can count on my photography. I even tend to capture the madness and the pain that I feel through my photography.
Yeah I know what you mean. I want to take more journalistic pictures. I do that for my weddings but I want to capture more of "real life" I go to Dallas and do just that. I get some real good pics but I was afraid to show them here because I didnt know how they would be accepted. Any ideas in that regard?
Yeah, Carla was actually my fiance' She was a beautiful red head and had lots of freckles. I thought they were cute ;-) (OH MY GOD I LOVE RED HEADS, well any woman that is comfortable with herself. That is what is important

What makes them unique ( to me anyway ) is that your subjects are not supermodels but beautiful nonetheless.
Their beauty is real. It's not an easy thing to capture. I can stop staring at the fourth picture: a plain woman with no makeup , yet she shines in her own gentle way. humble with a hint of confidence.
I guess that was the point that I was trying to make… Sometimes women aspire to be something that they know that they aren’t. I know that there are those who wish to be anorexic role models that they see in magazines but is it a true cross section of real women and people for that matter? I think not. Women are beautiful for who they are not for what they are trying to be. The natural beauty is first from within in how they feel about themselves and this is shown by the way that they feel about themselves on the outside. THAT is what, in my opinion is beautiful.
Tabitha wanted to do something for herself and this is one of many that I came up with. Just a bit of shadow across the face.
OMG she had the most beautiful green eyes and yes, I was in sheer lust with the way that she carried herself and the self-confidence that she had.
She was not afraid of the camera, and very sure of what she wanted. She wanted something in peach to show her warmth, which she had plenty of and with the help of PhotoShop I was able to make it happen.
She has to be one, still to this day, that I worked with.
