I'm sitting up and hugging my knees tightly. "Grave of the fireflies"/Hotaru no Haka (Hotaru meaning grave and Haka meaning fireflies) must be the prettiest, saddest and most humane anime I have seen yet

Maybe I've just gone crazy again.. but last I checked, "hotaru" means "firefly".

Anyway.. yeah, it's a really good anime, dreadfully depressing, though. Not something to watch if you plan on staying happy for an extended period of time. But I find that oddly lifting in its own way, sometimes. Yes, yes..

@__@ I wasn't thinking straight when I wrote this..but for some reason in my mind Hotaru made me think of graves, but you make more sense though..since it should be Fireflies ' No - graves..^^;;

I also didn't like the way I wrote this entry @__@ It sucks entirely and made the movie sounds *really* corny I just felt ..ARG at myself for not being able to express what I was feeling. My English sucks that way =P

Oh, Japanese is lovely in its nice, backwards logic. Trust me. When you're standing there trying to hold a conversation in Japanese, you learn to truly appreciate how little it has to do with English. o_o The fun just doesn't stop.

With the way ownership and posession can work, it can swap around either way. O_o But with way too much BSSM, I remember Hotaru fairly well. They take alot of liberties with titles, though.. something that annoys me to no ends. "Hoshi no koe" apparently means "Voices of a Distant Star".. o_O Uh-huh.

Anyway, I'd ramble about myself and my life a bit.. but kinda running short on time. Nor is your journal really the best place to ramble about my life. ^^; I will get that horrid photo off to you via hotmail before I leave, though.
