Memes. I think they're a pain in the arse to do because it requires all sorts of cut-and-paste and thought into pre-fab questions. Thus, I'm doing my own:
Artistic qualities? If we agree all forms of imagination and expression can be "artistic," I've got oodles. They're just all locked away, deep in the steamer trunk of my fetid soul.
Bought anything cool lately? Beyond all the comics and heroclix, I recently acquired the Dr. Strange bust from Bowen Designs. Mmmmmm...
Camera shy? Hell fucking no.
Devious thought of the day? Laughing about the little kid who kept whispering to his sister about "naked ladies" at my store (pictures of Amy Brown and Nene Thomas fairies, I think).
Exercise? Not really. I was playing Dance Dance Revolution at a local arcade a couple days a week for a month or two, but that's getting expensive and I'm lazy.
Foods of choice? medium-rare beef, artichoke hearts, white pizza (with extra cheese and olives!), anything crunchy, pasta (all sorts), chocolate truffles.
Guinness? Yes, please.
Halloween is your favorite time of year? My birthday is two days later, so it's like an extended celebration which includes dressing up in lots of latex, grease paint, fake blood, and vinyl (with great assistance by
looshkin).
Industrial of the moment? Massive In Mensch -- Kopfschuss. Holy crap, aoHell is actually useful for something.
Jesus, so what is with that guy? I think he certainly was/is more than human, and a definitive badass when it comes to sticking to what one believes in. I wish more people who claim him to be their Lord and Savior would actually take a look at his life to get the right idea.
Karma--does it affect you? I don't understand karma appropriately enough to say so. I can say with confidence I believe every action does affect many things. When I'm a bitch, the world knows it. When I'm kind, the world knows it. I'm also rather egotistical.
Lazy days consist of? Pissing around the Internet, cartoons, informative programing, eating, building heroclix teams, staying all bundled up in bed. Lots of coffee.
Mission in life? To actually do something with said life in the near future. To know I've successfully enlightened others in the far future.
Obsession of the moment? Dr. Strange. Or Marv. Or both. Or something. For posterity, past obsessions include Martian Manhunter and Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina). I am a very disturbed woman.
Play any games? Heroclix (I judge nowadays), RPGs on occasion
Quirks? Furrowing my eyebrows, thus looking thoughtful and/or irritated most of the time. Expressing concepts in vocal sound effects, none of which are very good. Stealing quotes second or third-hand.
Reading anything of note? All I read are comics/graphic novels anymore, it's pathetic: Warren Ellis's Planetary and Grant Morrison's Seven Soliders are probably the major ones; my User Info has the whole crazy list.
Social life? Almost nil. I've literally changed my mind going out to clubs and such on the way there, even though I do enjoy dancing (but generally only to industrial). Outside of my two close friends (see next question) and the gang from my local comic shop (hey
uncleboris!), I have little desire to "go out" and "talk to people."
Traveling anywhere soon? I hope so. My last trip was to St. Augustine with
looshkin and
ventruechick, and it ruled. Were I better with money, I'd travel more. Also, the laziness.
Undermining the status quo means? Thinking for yourself, questioning the world around you, and either demanding or creating answers, particularly when it bothers and/or enlightens others.
Vices? Food. Thinking about my favorite obsessions way too much. Spendthrift. Food.
Worst faults? Procrastination, followed by "she thought a little too well of herself, and got too much her own way" (Emma).
Xenomorphs are? Aren't they the critters in the Alien movies?
Y is a crooked letter? That's what my mother says. I wonder where that saying comes from?
Zatanna can say things backwards to make magic, so what would you do with such power?
Eno noissesbo htiw xis-kcap. Dna ssenniuG.
I hope you learned something you don't need to burn out of your brain!
