Bleach Fanfic.
Oh, boy. You know, of all the Bleach characters, Mayuri is the last one I would ever expect someone to write a Mary-Sue OC for. And this is coming from someone who adores the crazy bastard.
After the explosive force cleared, Mayuri rushed to Shirahime’s side. Even though Shirahime’s zanpaku-tos had been taken from her, just as

As for Fade to Black:
especially with Shunsui and Ukitake joining in. (And joining in together in flashy fashion.)
I totally watched that part like...three times just to re-live their awesome badassity. It was so fantastic.
Those two could make any movie great and I wished I could have seen it on the big screen.
Ah, this. That would have been 30000000x more epic.

*snort* Let me know what you think. I was headdesking through the chapter and a half that I read through.
Weren't they awesome? Whilst I thought Soifon was being depicted as a bit of a moron, Shunsui, Ukitake and Kenpachi were shown in a wonderful light. Same goes for Kisuke, I think.
Oh yes. Just imagine sitting there when he bursts free and goes apeshit on people things.

I think I need to watch that movie... do you know a good site that has it in decent quality?

Mary-Sues can be amusing, but mostly they're just really annoying. *shudder* I like OCs, but only when done well. They can be so much fun. However, in Bleach I don't see the need for too many of them. I mean, I've had ideas for this one particular OC that I'd love to delve into, but for now I'm happy with the many interesting and single characters that Bleach has walking around in its fandom. Man, we have more choice than most fandoms! XD
You can download a nice version, with subtitles, here. Scroll down to find the movies. I rather liked the quality.
If you're looking for a Raw version, then I'm not sure where to go, sorry.

The third movie; Fade To Black. It's the link right at the bottom, the very last one. ^^ It only came out recently.

And OC's ... yeah, I usually avoid those at all costs.
Fade to Black was all right. I loved the Mayuri and Urahara scenes, and thought it was pretty cool how the explored the Nemu and Mayuri relationship.

I try to laugh when I see them, especially because I know that we all have to start somewhere and I'm sure I wrote some awful Sues in my time as well. *grin* Can't be helped, I suppose. Though sometimes I just want to sit in a corner and bawl, like with the second one. *shudder* That one manages to completely wrap everyone around her little finger. Gah.
I don't mind OCs when they're done well. Heck, I occasionally enjoy writing some. However, in Bleach I don't really see the need for them. I mean, I have an OC in my head that I'd love to write someday, but in general there are enough characters - single characters, too - in Bleach to explore numerous situations, so I don't see why OCs need to be added. *shrug*
I liked it, mostly because of what you mentioned. Then again, I'm easily pleased when it comes to these movies. Plus, this involved Soul Society much more than I had expected, which always makes me happy. XD

Just.. tears of blood or something ;_____________;
Man, Zaraki and Mayuri -two guys I can't accept with women, no matter the situation :T
Guh, the movie. Never has anime!Mayuri satisfied me so~
This reminds me, I need to finish my review-ish thing before other things suck me into their vacuum of fabulousness

Mind-boggling, isn't it? Even stranger, she gave one of her other OCs Byakuya and had her main OC date Ukitake before hooking her claws in our favourite scientist. Somehow Byakuya and Ukitake seem more like Mary-Sue material, you know? And any sane mind would stay with Ukitake instead of going for the nutjob. *shrug* I mean, I love Mayuri, but he's out of his mind!
Heh. I can see them with women, but only very specific ones. Very strong-willed ones. Unohana, possibly, and for Mayuri Nanao. (Due to that Omake where she scared the crap out of him by taking off her glasses. Plus, I think her analytical mind would be right up her alley.) Also, Kuukaku/Kenpachi would be one hot pairing of hotheads.
*grins* Awesome, isn't it? ^^ I'll look forward to the review!
