Hee, thanks. I don't get to write these two a lot, so it's always fun when I get the chance. ^^

Lol, don't worry about it. You're not late at all!

(See that icon? It's one of two Burimyu ones I have. I NEED MORE!)

Haha, yes, he is. Like Mayuri, in a way. ;)

(Oh, I can do it myself, it's just that I'm too lazy to. *sigh* Thanks so much for offering, though! *hugs*)

This is beautiful. Fantastic. I'm racking my brain for a better comment, but I just don't have much more to offer. Great tone; great description and characterization; I liked the touch of Rangiku reading Hinamori's diary to Gin. Also liked how you leave so much unresolved. This was a great line:

Most of their time is wasted not saying a word, because she knows nothing Gin could say would make things all right, and she can't put sound to what she feels

(For what it's worth, I think you nailed 'grey Gin' quite well. He's still the classic trickster, morally ambiguous, but it's clear he doesn't feel entirely comfortable with the reminder of Hinamori's betrayed trust.)

*adds to faves*

*blush* Oh, wow, thank you. I don't get to write these two that often, so I'm happy to hear you think they're in-character. I love their dynamic, but haven't gotten a lot of practise with them yet. (Writing Gin is a pain, sometimes, heh.)

Your comment is much appreciated, because I worried I wasn't doing the prompt justice. (Talking about the prompt, will the prompter see this? I looked at her journal and she seems to have left LJ. Or at least gone to another journal.)

Hee, thanks so much!

I hope the prompter gets to see it! D: I'll leave a link on her journal; unfortunately, that's about all I can think to do...

(Sorry for the late response; I saw this when you first posted it and I got really excited, but I was waiting for the right opportunity to read this, but I ended up reading this at school anyways XD).

Anyways, back to the purpose of this comment XD:

I am... speechless (but not really at the same time XD). Certainly, Gin wasn't painted as grey as I thought he would be, but I love what you did with this. It was incredible. Every word... every sentence... I love the way you described everything. The subtle meanings behind every action and word... it was incredible.

The words, I surrendered, was what struck me the hardest. Surrender... betrayal...what does it mean to betray? I love the way you played with the themes...

Ah... thank you so much for this~~! It far exceeded my expectations, and it was a wonderful read! :D So thank you so much!

(Oh, don't worry about it! You weren't late at all. I just checked your journal, to see who I was writing for, and after reading your post I worried you might not get to see it. ^^ So manonlechat offered to nudge you, heh ( ... )
