Hi peeps, today's update will be an English one, just because... well, I can.
To all those poor fellows who can't read German: I'm in Okinawa, Japan, on my internship mission at Rizzan Sea Park Hotel since July, 5th.
Days have gone by and pretty much stuff happened.
Let's get started:
15th July:
Lauren, Maurice, Nick, Jason and I went to Mihama (American Village) to spend our day off and watch Potter 7.2.
The day was awesome, we had waaay to much good food (hamburgers, fries and chicken omnom) at A&W:
Lauren and I were totally imititating those beautiful people on the poster. Guess that's what happens to anyone who eats A&W stuff.
Yeah... Potter.
Let's just say I cried my eyes out and was sobbing for 130 minutes straight. God dammit. Even if I only got hooked with the story 6 years ago, I spent days, weeks.. maybe months in this fandom. Uh, yeah. It all ends.
No rant on the film here. I loved it. That's it.
This is the four of us (I don't know why Jason isn't in this photo... magic?) in the cinema. Pretty dark, moody.. aaah my camera. :D
After the film we decided to do some karaoke. A premiere on the Japanese style for Nick and me, but I can say, at least concerning myself, that it's pretty awesome.
Maurice kicks ass. Seriously. XD"
I can't remember the song, though, but it was good.
Lauren rocking...
Booyah, she knows all the good stuff, like L'arc en ciel, MONGOL800, ...
Uh, uh, uuuuh! *_*
Music fellow anyone?
The moon was so bright that night, that even my crappy cam could catch at least a glimpse of its beauty:
16th July
Oh yeah, having two days off in a row is pretty amazing... so Maurice, Jason, Ashly and I decided to attend the festival in the Ocean Expo Park near Nago including the biggest fireworks this summer in Okinawa.
Sun, sun, sun:
A dolphin greets the people looking out of their cars:
On our way to the festival grounds stood a cool building... I wasn't able to find out what it actually was, but it looked cool nonetheless.
I saw one dude wearing a super cool One Piece T-Shirt, but all the pics I took turned out blurry, because I didn't want him to recognize me stalking him. Chrm.
Too bad.
Anyways, here's something for all you tentacle lovers out there:
Zoom in.
Okay that's it for the neglibilities.
To get you tuned in, some pictures of the hanabi:
Shoooohooooting starrrr!
The prettiest photo I took. It's always hard to get all the sparkles... >D
Chrm... but anyway, pictures are not like you have been there and even a video can only show as much. But at least you'll get a glimpse on how beautiful it was:

This is a picture especially for Bastili... because you love the lions so much:
After the fireworks we went to get some beer and food.
I had takoyaki (calamari balls... not a calamari's balls!) they were so yummy. *_*
I wanna eat them every day. XD"
Those things in the plastic box are fried chicken gristles (frittierte Hühnerknorpelei <-- wär was für dich, Muttern! ^__^)
I almost threw up when I tried them, because I didn't know what they were.. Ugh. T_T
18th July
Epic night was epic.
The new people for the internships arrived that day and we decided to have a welcoming party.
Said. Done.
Marcus rode all the way to Ishikawa by bike to get all the booze and almost died, I swear.
But I guess the trip was worth it. ;P
A shoot of the party crowd. Upside down. Because I'm an artist.
Not.
Marcus and I were kinda responsible for the drinks.. chrm chrm.. and you all know what happens, when I start mixing stuff.
Too bad that we didn't have proper tools.. but anyways the folks got tipsy, at least.
Faces.
Sayaka, Sayuri, me, Koji.
Too bad that I had to work the next day. Went to bed around 12:30, but couldn't sleep for 2 hours.. and then were only 2 hours of sleep left until I had to get up again.
Uuuh yeah, the following day pretty much sucked balls.
Random:
I'm going by bike for dinner every other day now. Got used to the hilly landscape here (but still I avoid Ishikawa.. xD")
Anyways, taking some time to enjoy the outlook:
I'm a fan of sunsets but.. sunsets with that surrounding simply kick ass, thousand of times.
21st July
Next day off!
I arranged a meeting with Yan, a girl
thond met at the MTH-concert in Cologne in June and told her about me coming to Okinawa. Luckily she lives in Yomitan, 15 km from here, and we decided to meet at last and spent some time.
Hungrrrry girls were hungry, that's why we decided to have some pizza. (and dessert)
Mango ice cream and tofu cheese cake with blue berry sauce.
Oh gooood it was so good. (and so fucking expensive.. aaah and Yanさん insisted on paying everything. WTF! I'll buy her a huge beer the next time we meet.)
Aside from the awesome food the view over Onna was pretty neat, too.
Woah. I'm in paradise, I swear!
After lunch we went for a little drive, listening to Maximum The Hormone all the way.
So cool. *_*
We definitely will go for a special MTH-only karaoke party. hurrrr.
Went to Sesoko-jima (a littler island connect by a huge bridge to Okinawa-hontô).
Uaaah seriously the paradise is here.
I so wanted to jump into the water. >_<
Yo, smile from Yan and me
It was so cool, I told her, that I'll be wearing my MTH-shirt and she wore exactly the same. Ouh! >_<\m/
She also told me about a festival in October, where MTH and loads of other awesome bands will be playing. Ouh yeah it will pretty much kill all my savings, but I have to go there. *_*
When I came back to the dorm I was so hungry again. The girls next door wanted to make taco rice... *_*
omfg it was soooo good. *_*
Yesterday was another matsuri, directly in Onna this time, 15 minutes walk and we were in wonderland.
Got ourselves some chû-hai (Gelumpe würden wir's in Deutschland nennen, so ca. 4% Alk drin und süüüße!) and... something else:

Yoshi and I proudly present:

Marcus, me, Maurice, James,
Carla and Kristina.
Peace out!
I'm totally not doing the Naruto pose...
Now onto something with cultural value...
That guy with make up was actually part of some traditional dance called eizâ.
Here you can see a little impression of what it was like:

Hookay I think you're pretty much updated by now.
Take care, dudes.
