*blinks*

This is... I can't find the right words to describe this.

And it's a bunny fill? Impressive.

I really like how Bumblebee is beneath Soundwave's notice - or at least, he's not been around as a spy-pest long enough to be remembered personally by the master communication mech.
And Jazz, the only competent thieve able to STEAL musical files from Soundwave's personal collection? Cool! (and Soundwave stealing the files back)
*snickers*

Several good lines:
"gigantic desk which was full of reports that had the tendency to multiply if you looked away. Soundwave should know this, he had put most of the reports there"
is especially funny, but I also laughed out loud when I read
"the puppetmaster of Megatron, but that rumour was quietened very fast and very brutal", cause it's true - why let Megatron hear THAT rumor? It would lead to the Great Slagmaker doubting Soundwave and everything prepared by Soundwave - leaving the Cassettes especially vulnerable ( ... )

Thank you for your wonderful comment! :D

I always imagined that Bumblebee wasn't that important to Soundwave. No special abilities, no special rank... forgettable. At least that was my impression from the cartoon.
Jazz and Soundwave's musical files - that's all professional rivalry. ;)

Exactly, Megatron's mistrust is the last thing Soundwave needs... trust is far more useful.

Megatron can be a good commander (at least in my mind) and yes, Soundwave really needs a vacation. That he even wanted to know if a unimportant organic species is sentient or not is proof of that.

Hehe... I don't have much to say, but I do want to say this: I love it! :D Ver amusing, and an interesting premise... Can't wait for more!

Thank you! :D It's interesting to leave my Prowl/Jazz corner for a whole series. Soundwave is an interesting character.

Soundwave is pretty awesome. :D I do hope you go back to your P/J corner in a while, because I love your other stories too... ^.^ But this is pretty fun, and will be, I think, for a while. :D

Actually I've never been more in my P/J corner, I'm just writing Aftermath... and the series so interwoven that I only want to update it once it's finished. So far there are 5 chapters.^^

Fun? I hope so. After all I've got things planned for Soundwave... ;)

Oh wow! This is great! Much better than I was expecting when I first posted that bunny~ I especially like the depth you're putting into Soundwave and the cassettes.

And don't worry, I know what it's like to have several projects going on at once. Take all the time you need to finish this; I can wait. :)

So I could surprise you positively. ;) I loved the prompt for the chance to really explore what makes Soundwave tick.

I hope to finish Aftermath (the main series which I currently write) in April, or May. The second chapter of SW's campaign is already nearly written though.

Wow, this is such a great idea, and you are off to a great start. The pace of the story and of your writing is perfect. Not to fast, allowing for detail and getting to know the character and the situation. You have some wonderful lines throughout. Throughly enjoyed Soundwave asking Megatron permission for his mission and Megatron reading it a whole different way. Particularly the dig at Starscream. Yeah, being compared to SS could be a bit rough as well, and with the reader having the whole background with SOundwaves request, made the comment all the more funny at SOundwaves expense.

Again, enjoyed. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! ^^ I always imagined that Megatron knows his soldiers very well (and likes to use his power for teasing). Also, somehow I think that everyone compares Soundwave and Starscream with each other. After all, aren't they kind of rivals?
I'm very happy though, that my (sometimes peculiar) humour seems to be read- and likeable. ;)
