WOW.

I am speechless.

....

Okay, I can think know - or at least compute.

TRYPTICON gave Mirage the info?
I was thinking Jazz was his secret contact.

Elimination Squad, eh? Well, Jazz did do a lot of that, and he did teach his people to be able to sneak around unnoticed as well.

Nobody remembers that Hound and Mirage are top mechs in their divisions. Or that their skills were honed by vorns and vorns of war ( ... )

Yep, Trypticon was the secret contact. After all he had reason to help them as show in chapter 3. (I would've loved to write a chapter about Trypticon even without it being part of the plot, but well... he is! ^^)

I always though that Mirage alone is dangerous, but Mirage and Hound together? Deadly. Yeah, these two are examples of what kind of mechs used to serve Jazz and Prowl (and some still do).

Even Mirage's skills have a limit... which makes him so interesting.

Somehow I always thought that the place and how someone sleeps tells much about that person... of course, nightmares might be true, too. ;)

Oh, Howlback is a sneaky one. :D Very, very sneaky and fun to write. She was actually a minor character, but with every chapter she just grew and demanded attention.

Thanks for the awesome review!

The perfect pair of mechs for one last mission!! I'm glad to see mechs helping Jazz and Prowl for a change, but I fear I am not going to like the contents of their delivery at all. Faithful to the end Mirage, and thus they ask him to do the unthinkable and nearly impossible ( ... )

You're really really good and predicting me. The best of all of my readers actually.

The best pair for it: Absolutely.^^ I'm not a real fan of the pairing, but this was a job just made fo them.

You're completely right, the "normal" mechs not only learn about Prowl and Jazz, but about all the Autobots. They learn why people died, but hear what those "soldiers" chose to do after the war.
I love that you mentioned and noticed the sanctuary on Mirage's land. It was a huge point for me in this chapter, because I really contemplated for a few days what Mirage and Hound would do after the war. This is my answer and new headcanon.

I'm kinda surprised that everyone is so surprised by Trypticon. I so foreshadowed it in chapter 3, that I was worried the whole time. XD

LJ: I feel your pain. Today it crashed already twice on me.*glares at it*
