A New Year

Hey all. Besides the fact that I wish I didn't have to start the new year off with some homework I conveniently put off, it is still a good start to the year. I was thinking about my new years resolution. I decided that my resolution would be to do things to better my self in general. Depending on the goal, sometimes I almost think it better to set no resolution at all. No expectations, no disappointment. And it is very unfortunate that so many people do break their resolutions so early.

I agree with you to an extent. I believe that, when setting your resolution, it should be attainable. Otherwise, what's the point? Also, the nice thing about resolutions is that, if you didn't achieve it this year, you can always resolve to do it next year (depending on the resolution, of course. Some don't carry onto another year, in which case I think it was better to try and fail than to not try at all)
