Live Journal Layout
So, I finally got around to making a LJ layout. I did start this months ago, and when I came yesterday to finish it I was stuck. Anyway, with a little help from some great LJ communities, I finally have something to show.
How to install:
Installing a layout on LJ is pretty easy, and may take about 5-10 minutes to have ready. Follow the steps, and nothing should go wrong (hopefully). This works best on a free account, not Plus (I'm not sure about Paid).
1. Log into LJ, and go to Manage > Info.
2. Scroll down to 'Web Page', and make sure that you have a web address written there. If you don't write on in. If you don't have a site, just use http://livejournal.com.
3. Now click on Manage > Customize.
4. Make sure that the style system is set to S1. Then click Look and Feel, and set all the top 4 menus to Generator.
5. On the same page you fill see a section called Theme. Click Custom Colours, and set them to the following, and 'save changes'.
6. Click Custom Options, and add the code from here into the big box.
7. Now go through the code that you just posted, and everywhere you see USERNAME, change it to your own username.
Rules:
- Save to your own space.
- Comment.
- Edit in anyway you like, as long as you credit.
- Credit.
