Look in your fridge, kitchen cupboards, or bathroom sink to find as many liquids as you can.

For each substance make careful observations that will allow you to categorize the substances. Look for things such as layers, cloudiness, transparency, etc. Reading the label to determine the ingredients may also give you some insight.

Follow this procedure:
1. Identify each substance as an element, compound, or mixture.
2. If a mixture, identify as either homogenous or heterogeneous.
3. If a mixture also identify as a solution, suspension (temporary), or colloid.
4. If a colloid, identify, as a foam, gel, emulsion, or aerosol.

Arrange all the info above including ingredients in a neatly constructed data table. Be sure to include in your data table all observations that enabled you to classify each substance.
