30 Day Song Challenge (All in one day)
I saw this on Facebook and rather than plague everyone's newsfeed there, I figured I'd post it here all at once. Here we go!
- Day 01 - your favorite song Ooh, what a mean question. :/ I have quite a few, but there is one song I never skip when it pops up.
- Day 02 - your least favorite song Fucking Taylor Swift. Any of her music. Particularly this song, because she's whiny/creepy as all hell. Get over him and move on. Simple enough.
- day 03 - a song that makes you happy
- day 04 - a song that makes you sad "Love is watching someone die. So who's gonna watch you die?" Makes me get teary-eyed every time.
- day 05 - a song that reminds you of someone This is an amazing movie coupled with an amazing soundtrack. The language is completely fictional. My sister and I used to try and sing along creepily. xD
- day 06 - a song that reminds you of somewhere Reminds me of high school (all the good parts of it) since I discovered this song around then.
- day 07 - a song that reminds you of a certain event Reminds me of a break-up I had back in high school. I love this song despite the bad memory associated with it.
- day 08 - a song that you know all the words to Again, I could put a bunch of songs for this one. xD But I'll pick a new favorite, from the soundtrack to Tangled. Great movie, great music (can't go wrong with Alan Menken).
- day 09 - a song that you can dance to I want to rave to this so bad.
- day 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep If you ever need chill, soothing background music to help put you to sleep, The Album Leaf is it. I listen to it when I'm studying, taking a bath, or trying to fall asleep. So much love.
- day 11 - a song from your favorite band Shiny Toy Guns is another random obsession of mine. Can't wait for the new album, aoihad;oihdsfoasnfsdf. "Silly boy, gonna make you cry."
- day 12 - a song from a band you hate HATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATE EFFINGKINGSOFLEON EFFINGWHINYCROONINGVOICE GOAWAYANDNEVERCOMEBACK.
- day 13 - a song that is a guilty pleasure All of Ke$ha's music is a guilty pleasure for me. This song makes me feel the most guilty for liking her; I would lose friends if I admitted I liked this song. >->;
- day 14 - a song that no one would expect you to love This song is downright dirty. No one is immune to it, I swear... >->
- day 15 - a song that describes you So much Death Cab on here...but this song is a close second for my favorite song ever. "So brown eyes, I'll hold you near, cause you're the only song I want to hear, a melody softly soaring through my atmosphere."
- day 16 - a song that you used to love but now hate This song was so catchy, but it succumbed to being overplayed and remixed to the point of irritation for me. God I hate this song now.
- day 17 - a song that you hear often on the radio Rihanna has a strange habit of winding up in my collection. I don't have any strong feeling for her and her music, but damn is it catchy. Heard this on the radio a lot the past summer.
- day 18 - a song that you wish you heard on the radio deadmau5 has become a recent obsession, but I love him something fierce. He's a nerd, he has a cat, and plays Minecraft. He also has a livestream I frequently watch because he's hilariously random. Can't get enough of Ghosts n Stuff or this video.
- day 19 - a song from your favorite album I wanted to put Razia's Shadow on here but there weren't any good videos for it :/ Cartel is the only band I can listen to all songs on all their albums and never skip a track. I hope I can see them in concert one day and show support for the band whose lyrics are written in my soul.
- day 20 - a song that you listen to when you’re angry ...I don't get angry often, but when I do, this song sums it up pretty well.
- day 21 - a song that you listen to when you’re happy With an English dad, I grew up listening to Queen on a record player and I wouldn't want any other way. This song makes me want to stroll around with a fancy suit and monocle on with a big smile on my face.
- day 22 - a song that you listen to when you’re sad Beautiful but sad. Love this one.
- day 23 - a song that you want to play at your wedding Love this movie! The lyrics are so adorable. I can definitely picture slow dancing to this at the reception.
- day 24 - a song that you want to play at your funeral I'd make so many people cry even more if this was played at my funeral, but it's beautifully sad.
- day 25 - a song that makes you laugh Oh God, Max Bemis and Say Anything, you crack me up.
- day 26 - a song that you can play on an instrument I learned this song the whole way through when I took piano lessons. So soft and beautiful.
- day 27 - a song that you wish you could play Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game of all time. The stories never fail to touch my heart, make me laugh, and leave me in tears by the time I beat the game. My favorite version of the iconic theme is from Kingdom Hearts II (my favorite game in the series), and I wish I could dust off my piano skills and learn to play this.
- day 28 - a song that makes you feel guilty I love the music from Across the Universe (can't go wrong with The Beatles). This song makes me feel bad for pretty much abandoning the religion I grew up with.
- day 29 - a song from your childhood A*Teens, oh hell yes. Perfect early 2000's pop that I still love to this day.
- day 30 - your favorite song at this time last year Oh God, I loved this song and I still do. Mostly because I can relate to it and I think a lot of other people can too. "What do I have to do to make you want to fall in love with me?"
