In response to your earlier question (I kept getting an error message trying to PM you back): If they're spec'ed to NYPD standards, you'll probably want to change out the trigger mechanism because the regulation NYPD pull is 12 pounds. I don't have one myself--by the time I came on, the $Department had switched over to 9mms--but the people I know who still have the S&W .38 swear by them, so if the price is right then with a little work it could be a good reliable sidearm.
Well, I sincerely hope it isn't gamma, because a head of Ferrignian proportions would no doubt snap smash said helmet and the added mass wouldn't do much good for the suspension.
Thank ya kindly for the response on the smokewagon.
