I had to show some restraint and cut myself off at 50 LPs today, but at a dime per, it wasn't exactly excess.  For a dime I'll roll the dice on that first Ultravox album and yeah, that's the optimal price point for an Aldo Nova record.  Kidding aside, there were some flat out gems in the lot, some still sealed, and what wasn't was virginous.

Where will it end?  Less than 24 hours after I dedicated my reggae number Love TKO to the Obama campaign, a vast left wing conspiracy was set in motion that makes the hatchet job on Palin...errrr, pale in comparison.  A phalanx of lawyers descended on Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California and filed an injunction to have the song removed.

Treated meself to a bike ride and lunch at Culver's today.  Clean cut, sparkly retro wonderfulness.  I half expected a showdown between the squares and drapes.  Amazingly evil menu.  I really hate to use the in vogue phrase nom nom nom, but

Just another time-traveling lost 70s track that came back to me after some recent vinyl diving: this one by the late great rocker/painter Herman Brood.
