so heres how my room looks...very bare. buts its ok, im gonna get on post housing soon sharing an apt with some other infantry boys. plus im planning on getting my car shipped out here. oh and the cortizone is the only thing keeping me from scratching off my skin from the mosquito bites.

So here are some pics of my trip in Taiwan. Long story short, i went on a tour the first week and then the last two weeks i spent with family. So after trying for close to 2 hours to get this wireless internet thing going, and talking to their customer support whom I requested an english speaker but still got mandarin speaker, its up and running. So Taiwan has this thing called WiFly throughout all of Taipei city, a joint business public service setup in conjunction with the government ( Read more... )

You know what I find weird? When we see people we used to know or used to be friends with out in public, but choose to ignore or pretend we don't recognize them. Now these are people we played or hung out with during our golden years as children or young adults. But now they are just strangers even though we really know who they are.
